i own a 1990 190e 2.3 ive had it for 25k without one ounce of trouble until....it had a dead battery and i jumpstarted it . then ran 87 oct. gas in it for the first time filled it by accident. ran fine for a while and started to stick at 3500 rpm like i was on cruise control when i let off the gas.brought it to the garage and they said that all my vacuum lines were junk and replaced all of them...except one a white/yellowish hard plastic thin hose that seemed to have no home tight under the air box so they plugged it...my car for the first week now was bearly idoling at all choking at 700 / 800 rpm...ive now strictly run 3 tanks of super in it again and it is starting to high rev and surge sometimes....help me figure this out im sure its something simple thanks to anyone that can help

Well for starters I would locate the vacuum port that hose belongs on because a vacuum leak would for sure cause some problems and no point in even looking at other poss. probs. until that is fixed.
