Good morning to everyone. I discovered this site when browsing for an answer to a small issue I am having with my 1988 560SL. I have owned the car for two years now and enjoy driving it to work and back here in the Northwest - Kenmore Washington (near Seattle). The car runs excellently and I have not had any major problems. I have one interesting thing that happens during the winter months that is annoying. Whenever the temperature drops below 50, the car starts easily and then has a rough idle and the first couple of shifts between second and third are hesitant. Once it is warmed up, no problems and during the warmer times of the year - no problems. I suspect a vacuum problem of sensor. I heard that it can be very difficult to track these down, so i thought I might see what others have to say before I spend a much of money having a mechanic track it down. Anyway, I am excited to browse the site and hope to be connecting with some of you.
