Hi, Once the handbrake is applied (via the small foot pedal), does it automatically release when you re-enter the car or do you still need to pull the release handle.

Reason why I ask is that each time I start a new journey the brake seems to have released already without me having to pull the release handle.

Thanks

Mine never releases itself.
I have to always release the brake manually by pulling on the handle.
I used to forget it on all the time until I start rolling and warning comes up. V8 has nice power to it :)

No it does not release automatically, you have pull the handle to release it. If you apply the eBrake and come back and find it released, you have a proble with the mechanism.
