Just got the email from Cineflix and it looks like it might be off to the movies, again. They changed their requirements from the original sent to GermanStar, and prefer the euro bumper look and the hub caps. Deal isn't final yet, but it looks like the car might be trailered to Hamilton, Ontario for the Discovery Channel documentary.

One step closer today. Final word tomorrow. It's for the "Murder For Hire" series. If it's a go, I put the hardtop on (yetch) and deliver it to Windsor. They'll ship it from there. Hope it flies, because I could use the extra pay check and lower the overall cost of ownership again. Not a bad deal. The black fuzzy dice will go with it, but not sure they'll make it. Not even sure it will go - they have another car, but they like mine more.

Alas

Alas, it's not to be. Got the call tonight that the one they got locally will work for them. They had to match the detail on the one that was used in the California part of the shoot and the bumpers were the decider. That's the bad news. The good news is that they loved the look of my car and will try to find a way to fit it into another production in the future. Good thing I didn't spend the fee they talked about.
