Hi all - does the front CV halfshaft nut need to be replaced after it is removed? I know on my other cars, these are one-time use only, because you have to stake the nut in place after torquing it down. I also wasn't sure if these are to be staked either.

yes, it's call to replace upon removal.

It calls for replacement after removal and the reason why is that it is a self locking nut with no cotter pin.
