Yet another noob question.

What is the difference between:

29377 '99-'02 $149.95
29772 '97-'02 $149.95
29749-4 '99-'02 $214.95

I found all of these on eBay they all claim to be "Sport" and for my year range. I have an '01 430 cab so perhaps the weight of the conv top makes a dif for the rear springs? Or are there compatibility issues?

TIA,
Duc

395? Sorry, Im sarcastic and its hard to show that in type. ;)

I don't know, I dont want to order something that wont fit/work for my car. I was hoping someone who has H&R Sports on their ride would post the part number they are using or any insight to what will work on an '01 430 cab.

Gixxers are cool but I prefer Italian twins :)

I bought mine from EBay...i think the guy was qualifiedjapaneseparts. The springs for a Cabrio are different...make sure you get the right ones.

When I researched, it looked like 377 have 1.3" drop, versus 0.9" drop on 772, If you look on h&r site, 377 come on clk43 AMG and the other one for CLK430. AS far as I know there no CLK43 AMG at least in states. But 377 will fit fine cause I have them with stock pads. I glad I kept original pads, cause if had changed them my car would get lay on tires. Also roads are SHIT in tri-state area. I have about 3/4" clearance between fender and tire all around. Last thing I almost forgot to write, I love it, original springs felt more like a boat then a car.

The 377 is for a clk55. The 749 is for a 320 or 430 convertible and the 772 is for a clk320 or clk430 non convertible. 100% guaranteed. And they are definately cheaper on EBAY at the moment. About $50.00 cheaper versus the tire rack.

Thanks

In my profession we have a board just like this that we affectionately call "The Crackpipe" because of its addictiveness. But, like Benzworld, the availability of instant information is unmatched.

Mucho Gracias amigos :beerchugr:
