Hey there. Not sure if anyone was particularly close to Jumper, he lived in New Mexico. He exchanged a lot of texts with me about projects on his 1990 SEC. I sent a text to him the other day to see how the HR spring install went. I got a text back from his wife on his phone, telling me that Jayce passed away on 8/14/2014. I do not have any details about how he passed. Jayce was a cool cat, very involved in the trucking industry, his dad worked for James R Hoffa back in the day. So not sure how many of you are Teamsters, or grew up in a UAW/Teamster house as a kid, but this is the case. No details on the disposition of the car. If I learn of anything, I will pass it on if permision to do so is granted. Keeping his particulars private as you might expect.
Jayce, RIP buddy! I will miss that deep voice of yours. You were a man's man and 58 years is too little. Reviewing my txts from you, I raise a glass to your memory using one of your repeated phrases --- "...thanks for helpin a brutha out!""
