got my SLK today

After a year and 1/2 of being in two body shops, I got my baby back. The second body shop did a redo of the first body shop. That first body shop really sucks.

Well car drives great, but there are two noises that are driving me nuts.

1. Rattle/vibration noise coming from passenger rear. I think it is the trunk hinge assembly that connects to the trunk on the left side.

2. Clicking noise from the gearshift to radio area. Noise comes and goes. Have not isolated the noise.

Just curious. Why would you have both a SL500 and a SLK 320? Just seems kinda strange to me. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE both cars, but they are "kinda" alike if you know what I mean. (Why not a S500 instead for instance). Just wondering.
The 2004 SL500 is a bigger car and can hold a 90 lbs suitcase in the trunk with the top down. Also wife has more room to carry her food when we travel in the SL.

Besides, I have a Yukon Denali to carry carry folks.
My wife drives the SL500, and I drive the SLK 320. The SLK is more fun to drive around in the city, and the SL500 is a great long distance cruiser. The SL has a rear shelf bag that allows us to carry water, snacks, and her makeup bag. The cars are the same but very different. The SL allows us to travel very comfortably in style. The SLK is just a run about car that is fun to drive. Click on this link to see my two Mercedes. http://www.benzworld.org/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=1183123&posts=18&fid=37

Now back to my question. Has anyone had the problems below and what was the fix.

1. Rattle/vibration noise coming from passenger rear. I think it is the trunk hinge assembly that connects to the trunk on the left side.

2. Clicking noise from the gearshift to radio area. Noise comes and goes. Have not isolated the noise.
