2001 c320
59k miles/95k km
tan/tan or champagne whatever it is.
looks like it has some extra options, power seats on driver/passenger side
complete service history
rebuilt for sure (extent unknown)
90% tires and free 90day powertrain warranty
$6800

Price is significantly below comparable c240s/c320s in my area.

If the structural components check out okay, what common / underlying issues can arise with these w203's?

Advice appreciated.

2001 ( the first year) was the worst year for the W203. I'd check the radiator to make sure it has had the bad Valeo unit replaced. About the worst problem will be the transmission, but low miles is always a good sign. You may have annoying issues with the antenna module and a few other minor things, but the price seems good. Check for body damage either with a pint thickness meter or by running your fingers along edges of body panels to detect tape lines and overspray.

I read about the radiator issue, but does this issue go up to the 2004 C230?

I just picked it up 2 weeks ago for 12.5 with 67k

I am fairly certain this was fixed by MY2004. I know it was for the MY2005 "refresh". Just check it to be sure. You may be able to find a label on it if it's a Behr. If not, check the crimp pattern on the tank (there's a thread on the forum with the key to identifying a just search "valeo")
