Anybody tried the new upgraded glow plugs from Bosch. They sell them on Ebay for $145,- for 5 plugs and a new relay. Is supposed to help with better start up and less knock during warm up. I'm due for some new one's so was considering this as an option. Like to hear some feedback if anyone tried these.

thanks;)

The same might be accomplished with a valve adjustment for a lot less. Otherwise this sounds like a ‘fix’ for a worn engine with compression issues.

I have a new relay, let me know if you're interested.

Yet, living where you do, I would think the world's strongest gp relay and plugs are a low priority concern.

That kit looks cool for the reamer... but man what a price. Autohausaz has each glow plug for $9.26 each = $46.30. Anyone know where we can get that reamer tool? Looks like it may be worth having... but not for $53.

I understand a proper sized drill bit works too.

I have a reamer for rent if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer but I'm in Escondido, California.
Really thinking on ordering from Mercedes source. I plan on keeping the Lady so might as well invest in some good maintenance tools.
But if anybody knows where to get that reamer tool cheaper I'm all ears.:p
