Glow Plug LIght is Flashing

I just encountered this problem today and it has never happened before. When I turn the car on and the engine is running the glow plug light will flash for about 30 or so seconds. Does this mean they need replacing? Or did a cable come off? Please help. I dont wanna drive it if its unsafe like this.

Yes, get Bosch or Beru not Autolite. If you have an ohm meter, it is very easy to test the glow plugs. A good cold plug will test at 0.6 ohms, but if they've got 150K on them, it's not a bad idea to just replace them all. Still you can test the old ones and keep the good ones for spares.
