I come from the BMW world, where I know a lot about BMW's and their "isms". The MB not so much. Our 2013 GLK250 has been great. The few times I've worked on it, love how well put together it is. Unfortunately we are between houses, it is time for some work, so I need someone to do that for me. A few questions.
  1. P216f - Coolant system. I'm assuming this gets a new pump and thermostat. I've seen in a few places where I may have a vacuum system that feeds through the coolant pump carrier, and there may be also vacuum system work which should be done (i.e., actuator, clean out lines of coolant, an aluminum tube seal). Do I have this right, or is this a different MB 4-cyl diesel?
  2. While in for the coolant work, at 118k, do I have them do cam cover gasket, pulleys, and belt? Anything else while there? (whole emissions system is new)

Trust me....this will help you in the long run. :)

Done, though that information was in the first line of this post, almost one day ago, with no other replies here except to add that information in my account details. Seems like a pretty straightforward question I asked. Doesn't look very promising on getting feedback.

Guessing you meant code P261F. Note there aren't a lot of diesel owners here. Here's a thread that may help.
