I walked into my garage the other day to find both the headlight and the tail light on the right side of my 2010 GLK lit up. That seemed very weird to me. I recently picked up the GLK, so I'm not sure if this means something or if my car is just haunted! Anyways, I plan on taking it in obviously, but was just wondering if anyone else heard or experienced this. It seems intermittent, it doesn't happen often.

I am experiencing the same thing today with my 2010 GLK350. The rear passenger side tail light. The light switch is in the off position.

Is it your parking lamp? I don't know how they're activated on this model.

It sounds like the parking lamp. It's activated by the headlamp switch. Moving it counter clockwise to either of the "P" positions will light the front and rear parking lights. It's a weird German thing. You turn these on when parking temporarily on the side of the street.
