My 2014 GLK 250 has intermittent shift issues, sometimes the shift stalk switch won't engage R, D, or anything else. I hear what sounds like sloppy linkage attempting to shift the tranny, but can't find any mechanical linkage. Once in gear, the transmission has no issues at all.
Does this tranny use the black electrical module on the driver's side rear to shift? I have a picture from the underside here, which I think is an ISM Intelligent Shift Module with the electrical connector (5-pin I think):
Or is there some worn bushing I should be looking for. I found the part on ebay with a part number of A0002701652, but I don't know if that's the part I need to replace.
