Hey guys, help me out if you have a second.
I'm looking at a NON-CPO 2016 GLE300D at 47.000 miles, for about $42.500 .. looks like, have only 3000 miles left for mfg warranty. My questions are, heck, how much is the 50K maintenance gonna run, never bought a NON-CPO car before, what most likely my next repair bill is gonna be? or do you suggest that I get a certain warranty from them? over the counter etc? I like the car, I like its features, but I'm scared man.. yay or nay?

I'm not sure where you are based, but if in the US, then that is a terrible deal for that car. Please walk away

I paid $1600 on 11/14/2016 to extend prepaid service to 11/13/2020 with the little diesel ('15 ML250BTC) at 40,111 miles... purchased an extended warranty to 100K at the time of purchase. I was scared too but I'm a dedicated diesel fan now and the biturbo 4-banger is really great (getting 29 overall and >30 on the open highway) and diesel prices have pretty much been lower than regular for the last couple of years. Not sure about how good your deal is-- the base price MSRP for these was $48+ new (with 4x4) but the price goes up quite a bit with options --e.g., bigger wheels, radar (DISTRONIC PLUS), etc. What's it got on it?
