Hi All, sorry I'm new to this forum and forums generally so not sure where to ask this or even if I can. Assuming I can... would anyone be able to tell me does the GLC 300 e have any space under the boot floor or does the battery take up all the space under there. I can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere. I'm curious cause I'm just about to purchase one.
Thanks for any replies.

There is plenty of space under the floor behind the back seat. The space is car-width, about 10 inches deep, maybe a bit more and half the boot floor deep. Plenty of room for me which includes three hats, accident gear, cable bag, tow rope, shopping bags, and still room to spare. No spare wheel as it has run-flat tyres. Big enough for all your knick nacks, like first aid kit, coffee holders, a few rags, towels as well as the stuff I mentioned earlier. GREAT car.

p.s. should have mentioned firstly, the boot floor is half battery and half storage.
The first time from new I washed the 300e was an annoying event. I had the key in my back pocket and every time I sprayed any door handle with the hose, the car either locked itself or unlocked itself, with the attached short toot. And every time I brushed any door handle whilst washing the roof, the same thing happened. And every time I wiped dry any door handle, yes, again. Then I applied the wet wax, same annoying event. And finally, the sealer, same thing. I thought the car was going to fly off, so often the door mirrors flapped out and back. My wife finally had heard enough as well and shouted to me from the backdoor step 'take the ignition key out of your pocket and throw it over here you dumbo'. Moral of the story is unlock the car and throw the key away when you wash. I had to agree with her in this instance.
