Hi, Have a 89 300E Auto. The gearbox oil cooler fuse is burnt, I replaced it and just have a question. What does this do, besides the obvious, is there a pump? Also if the fuse is blown, will I destroy the transmission?

I am not aware of a transmission cooler fuse. The transmission cooler is part of your radiator and is circulated via the pressure of the transmission itself. There is no aux. pump for this function.

Good Luck,

The fuse box shows #11 Gear Box Cooler, but if it does not have a pump or use I guess I can leave it out.

Thanks
