Hey guys, I have a 2006 c55 and I’m having trouble getting the car to move. Put a new conductor plate in it and it got stuck in limp mode. Then I took it out again checked everything put it back in and then I had no gears. Only reverse engaged but no movement. I then proceeded to take out the valve body again, split it and cleaned it. Put it back in and still no gears. It now engages reverse and drive but no movement. I jacked the car up to see if the tires would spin and now in both reverse and drive the tires move as if it’s in drive. Any suggestions on what the issue could be? Thanks

Did you install the valve body correctly? The valve body has a notch where the shifter rod goes.

And correct amount of fluid? Are you measuring with the car running?

Check to see if the transmission pump is working... remove one of the transmission cooling line from the radiator and start the car. It should come out with some decent force.

It was in limp mode and was throwing codes. That’s why I changed the conductor plate
did you had a speed sensor code , that is what make you change the conductor plate .the trans loose either the front sensor that give reading on the input shaft , or the rear one that give the output shaft speed [ propeller shaft ] list your codes number here .

Yes had a speed sensor code, slippage code, target gear not reached, incorrect gear ratio, those are some of the codes I don’t quite remember all of them

there was another issue [ never saw it ] about trans fluid filling up the ETC module thru the plug / wiring .if the plug was not gushing with oil , that will not be a issue . dont know where you are going with that .

Could be you gear selector module too! pay attention to guage cluster, see if it is displaying W or S, also try to switch between modes if it's staying blank and have harsh gear engagement from park to R then you know its ur shifter!

Try putting more fluids in it. Buy a universal tranny dip stick online for like ten bucks and make sure u put in the right amount. If you don't have a fill tube then you'll have to pump it up in there ... Get an auto transmission filler extractor to fill it
