wheres a good place to get a new one, my plastic one has really contracted and i tried supergluing some of the edges back to the wood, but that didnt work.

some of the glue smeared a lil on the wood, will the product called "oops" take the superglu out , or will it dammage the finish of the wood. thanks

the wood is different, the transmission gear surround is different, and thus the little rubber bit (which is hard plastic on the 89 and later) is different.

It's not so much the shape as the details of the design differ.

Look at some 89 and later 560's trans surround wood and it'll be easy to spot.
