Now this is a bizzare situation. I have a 1993 190e Sportline and everytime I pump gas and fill the tank, start the car and once I park and stop the engine, gasoline starts leaking in the front driver side fender just between the tires and the left bumper.
I took apart the fender well and found that there are 2 hoses that think comes from the tank and it is squirting gas in one of the hose. THe hose is connected to a white plastic interface that is mounted on the fender wall on the engine bsy wall. The plastic is connected to an intake in just infront of the master brake cylinder.
When I consumed around 1/4 tank of gas, it does not leak anymore.
I cannot trace where that particular hose is coming from.
Anybody has an idea what is causing this leak.
My idea is the hose is a return for gas tank vacuum for fumes.

I guess our great minds here are not able to decipher what my problem is.
I will post pictures for this to understand better.

Yes, it sounds like the gas recycle line, hooked up to the fender mounted charcoal canisters that condenses the excess gas vapor from the pressurized CIS system.

THe question is: what do I do from here?
It only happens when I load up on gas, it does leak awefull lot.
I tried to measure the leaking gas and it is about a gallon.
I will start working on it on Monday.
A Hapy New Year to all!!
