Have you started and drove the car after that? If yes, is it running rough or you don't see any difference. If you can't feel the difference in driving then it should be fine fill her up again with diesel and you should be fine.
That might be Placebo effect as gasoline has less energy than diesel fuel.
But fact is that in the past -some gas was added by truckers to diesel to avoid winter gelling, before better stuff was put on the shelves.
I changed the fuse in the fuse box but no luck. it's the same fuse that powers the two lighters in the back doors and they work fine. if there another fuse for the front lighter that is not in the fuse box?
My son drove my 1985 300TD for a month without checking the oil and drove it until if started making engine noise. Two miles from home he decided to keep going and the noise got worse. Here's a short 30sec. vid with the engine at idle. It only has 98K; is the engine gone?
My check engine light shows. Scan indicates faulty sensor on one side. Tried cleaning but did not keep light off for long. MB replacement unit lists at near $1000.00.
Does anyone know the bosch part number for the sensors. To replace the whole assembly for 1 of 2 sensors seems excessive
