I took my 08 E350 4matic to the dealer because of a gas smell. I'd seen posts about it on here so I knew it was under warranty but decided not to mention it to see what would happen. The local dealer (James Motor Co) service advisor called and said they would be replacing the tank, pump and all seals under warranty. Parts are being airshiped so it should be ready by Monday afternoon. Now I need to try to use the e coupon for $100 off maintenance for the wheel alignment and the transmission service I also got.

Mine goes in next week for a tank. I just started to get the fuel smell outside the car after a fill up.

I have known the service manager for over 20 years so he is getting the parts and they will knock the job out in a day.
