My sister-in-law borrowed my aged 1998 CLK320, and lost the gas (petrol) tank cap. I need to get it replaced ASAP.

I ordered one from Labur parts, via ebay, and used the web form to enter the correct year/model, but it doesn't fit. I'm attaching a picture of the cap they sent, and a picture of the filler pipe flange on my car.

Could a kind soul please look at their cap on this early, first generation CLK, USA spec (California if it really matters) and tell me the correct part number? Or even point me to a reputable parts supplier with fast turnaround?

Many thanks......

I checked my 02 CLK430 and found this part #1404700305. AutohauzAZ shows a cross reference number that matches with 2154700105.

Hope that helps!
