It depends on what type of pad you are using, I use a soft pad and replace them every 30k, But I'm still on the same rotors. I know this sounds dumb but do you think that because of the placement of the peddles, you don't know it but your ridding the peddle? I know sometime I catch my self on both peddles in mine!
I wear size 13 shoes and never have a problem hitting the brake pedal while on the accelerator. For one thing, the pedals are not on the same plane. I have to lift off and back from the accelerator to get on the brake.
Hmmm, I am coming up on the better part of 50,000 km and have not had any issues with the brakes - no pad replacements. Had some squeeking when they got a bit dusty on dry dirt roads but thats about it. I had not heard of a brake eating problem; maybe you are one of those excessive brakers that annoy the heck out of everbody on the road??
I noticed that the rotors have a lot of wear based on the significant ridge on the edge. While braking the pedal pulsates as if the rotors are warped. But the final determination was made by the dealer the other day when I took it for a service A and they noticed that it needs both pads and rotors.
I bought some authentic AMG tail lamp grill guards for my 02’. The part number is 463 860 07 42... it’s the type that screws in. I got under the truck and I couldn’t find anywhere to screw them into. Any help?
I recently purchased a 2019 G550. The rear tire and cover on the tailgate does not have a lock that prevents it from being stolen. It takes only a screw driver to remove the rear wheel, rear tire, and entire tire cover assembly. I would like some thoughts on how to secure this tailgate rear...
Forgive me if I've placed this in wrong forum, but I'm selling my G500. Below is my CL ad which I hope addresses any questions. Otherwise please feel free to PM me. I have an ad both in the SF Bay Area craigslist and LA (unfortunately I'm prohibited from posting direct link here)...
