So, that explains the 7 seat motor/ecu changes on the dead grey '02. Never was completely fixed.

When you wanted the chair back it went forward, when you wanted it forward it went forward, when you wanted it up it went forward.......

05 - no problema....yet.

I had the passenger seat that always wanted to go forward with my '02 also. I am with you Marco, no problems on the '05... yet.

Harald's right, a screw driver, a can of compressed air, and 30 minutes is all it takes. Did it myself a few months ago. Probably will have to do it again sometime in the future.

Maybe someone could let the 3 dealers I visited this know abou this little secret. Oh, wait a minute, I did. And they still could not fix it! As my gray 02 went back to the manufacturer this was still not working but it really did not matter too much. It was the least important of the major problems this vehicle had.

By the way I was driving the silver 02 this am and as I crossed over the traintrack that is near my home the rear passenger window fell to the bottom of its track and will remain there for it to get the 3rd regulator. I just waned to let you know in case any of you think that there are good and bad 02's. There are bad and really bad 02's(with apologies to saigonsmuggler in advance). All of those of you with pre 02 G's who have had this problem once please let me know. On two 02's with a combined 91K miles it has happened 10 times!
