I live in Seattle and for over ten years I did computer work for a basketball player (now former player) and in a trade situation I ended up with his wheels from his old G-wagon... my question is... do these fit other cars? I was told by my local less schwa... (CORRECTION... TIRE PLACE) that all MB wheels fit all MB's... and as a S-Class owner I was excited... until I found out he lied... meaning I had to arrange to drive these for hours to my place for nothing but wasted garage space and now an errand of selling them. Not cool... at... all.

Please help... I am not posting these for sale (yet... although that is inevitable at some point) as I am not even sure what to post... I don't know the bolt pattern (obviously 5-star, but measurement), nor the make/model... I am even unsure on the inches... I also know not what other cars make/models this size rim would fit in addition to a G-Wagon.

Any help appreciated... if you know the type of rims these are I would appreciate your help/input... also possibly going rate or a fair price these could go for.

The rims pictured are aftermarket and not MB rims. They were either custom made to fit the G-Class which has a specific bolt pattern or they were retrofitted with adapters. Without knowing the particulars, (bolt pattern, size and off-set) there's no way to answer your questions.

The Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne both have 5 x 130 bolt patterns (the VW Touareg probably does, too), but the rim offset may not be compatible.

Would you really want those on an S class? How could you think they were factory Mercedes wheels?

All the VAG suvs have the same bolt pattern, 5x130, and the offset varies with width but an 8" rim has an ET of about 48-52 depending on style.

I thought the GL also had the 5x130 ? You should check on the ML/M class.

Those chrome wheels ought to have an "ET" stamped on the back.

By the way, MB parts counter can tell you the MB info.

My wheel guide states that the Cayenne and VW want 45-60mm offset and have a 71.5 Centerbore. Same PCD as the G. Considering that G-wagen are generally on 43 or 63 ET wheels they will fit those cars.
The bad part is the 84.1 CB that the G has is an odd-bird and getting a good aluminum CB adaptor would be a PITA.
