I saw a picture a while back of a G, possibly in a dessert, that had driven over a mine. The G was toast, but supposedly the two occupants survived.

I don't think it was a military G.

Anybody have the photo and/or know the story?

Thanks. How did you find it? I knew it was on this forum somewhere but had no results doing a search on either "mine" or "landmine"

I guess I was just lucky, I remembered the article and went to search .......but....... to repeat the exercise ........no luck[:(]

Thanks.

Can Thomas shed more light on this incident other than they were blown clear?

Was it a friend? Obviously a civilian G from the pics.
