mbspy.com has exclusive pictures of the next S-Class w221. The car is totally disquised ofcoarse, but you can get the general idea of the new body style. And from what I see, the car is beefed up from the current w220. It will bring back a little feeling of the bulky w140, yet still have the sleek design of a downsized w220. The w221 will start hitting the assembly line in 2005. So I believe it will premier in the U.S. around 2006 or 2007 since the w220 started in 1998 but premiered in late 1999/2000. All I have to say is start saving up those piggy banks, I know I will.
