Apparently, that ESP button doesn't turn off all of the safety features on our cars. This document tells how to do it for new Mercedes in general terms, but our SLKs do not have some of the features described here (buttons on steering wheel, etc). Does anyone know the sequence for our cars? I did a search before posting, but found no information.

I'm not sure there is an easy way to do it. My guess is that it would be through a proprietary MB software code, maybe through the OBD-2 connector.
I don't think it's feasable

maybe with the dealer software, and even then.

I dynoed my car on a dynojet dyno and I think my ESP did rub a lot of power, I will get a normal roller dyno this spring to back up what I'm thinking.
