Any body have a diagram or photo of where the fuel pressure regulator is situated and how easy is this to replace yourself. I am hoping that by changing this my hot starting problem will disappear. I will also change the fuel filter which I am assuming is at the rear of the vehicle underneath the fuel tank.

If your car has KE5 injection, the fuel accumulator is more likely a problem than the pressure regulator. But another strong possibility is the ignition.

Before replacing fuel components which may be working fine, why not purchase a fuel pressure gauge and check the system? Might even be able to borrow a gauge from Autozone at no charge.
