Any recommendations on a good trusted set of pressure gauge? are the universal ones on ebay will do the job ? i heard that the harbor freight one are not good and the fluctuates up and down while you do the test ?

I have a Harbor Freight set and it works fine. The only thing is I had to take out the schrader valves in each hose. They are supposed to help with leaks when you disconnect but I found they just messed up the readings. Anyway, for the price I think it works great.

If needle is fluctuating fuel pressure is also fluctuating. If fuel pressure is fluctuating but needle does not move it is a bad pressure gauge.

I would try it first to see if your set works properly. If not, you just need a valve core remover to remove the schrader valves in the ends of each quick disconnect fitting.
