Hi all

Fuel gauge on our older 300TE is going a bit weird. The fuel light will come on when its on the last marker on the left basically quarter left. Anyone know how to adjust this?

Which one is right - the light or the gauge? You can find out by checking the capacity and filling the tank. My guess would be that the gauge is off due to a bad sending unit in the trunk, but that's just a guess.

Bad sending unit inside the gas tank. Tank is located behind rear seats. Trunk access.

Wrong - the TE is the estate so the fuel tank is located underneath the car (and often goes rusty unlike the one on saloons that is located between the rear seat and the boot.
