I washed car today and noticed water would not drain from drain hole inside fuel cover, what would I use to clear the drain without damaging anything, come to think of it what other drains need regular unclogging?

Type 'gas filler drain hole' into the search this forum box and hit go again for search all forums. There are several write ups.

Thanks Horst for such a quick reply. I'll try it in the morning. BTW, where does it drain to, a catch tank or the ground?
Thanks, Hans

A lenght of heavier (5 amp) gauge electic wire was recommended. The copper core should flex enough to get around bends and the insulation should keep you from damaging the rubber hose. I am not sure where the drain leads, could be the expansion tank. Viel Erfolg, Horst K

Thanks to both, used a speedo cable inner, which is quite flexible and strong and after working it with hot water it eventually cleared and is draining nicely. Thanks again, Hans
