Hi all.

I have this FAC-1 that I got with my SEL and I sure don't need it, so if anyone out there knows what it does and needs it, PM me. I believe it's for a Gen I though.

I do not think I have the connector for the harness.

Hi mc,

Apparently the FAC-1 Air Fuel Ratio Controller box was retrofitted / added to some cars in order they could pass emissions testing in some countries.. like here in usa! heh heh Yours is from 1984 I have learned.. so yeah Gen 1..

In the early 70' through mid 80's I was a line tech for a big european car store here in the Boston area.. I have never seen one of them 'til this morning on your post..

Here's a great link for you on the FAC-1: dc-johnson.com : Home

Cheers, MBL

Yeah, there were several different versions and manufactures of these units. They were used on the Gray Market vehicles during the late 80's to conform to the EPA requirements when converting the cars to pass US emissions. They had to be a closed loop system when the O2 sensors and Cats were installed.
