i am clue less on these fuel systems
my question is, where is the starting point when adjusting the fuel system.
at the moment, the engine fires but wont run.
the allen key adjustment i am sure is way out as i have been messing with it.
the fuel pressure is around 90psi, is that right
thanks

Your first mistake was turning the screw. that is the last thing you want to touch.

Assuming the car has been sitting for a while, drain all old fuel, replace the filter in the tank and clean the tank as needed. Clean out the the fuel and return lines. replace all rubber hoses. replace the filter by the pump. After you have done all that, connect the fuel line to the return line by the engine and run the fuel pump for 20 minutes to filter everything out before connecting the FD again.
Your fuel distributor probably needs rebuilt along with the WUR. Send them to CIS Flowtech.

How long since the car ran last?
