'01 E320 has 107K and I no longer take it to MB for service. I would like to reset the "time to next Maintenance" message (zero it out) but most suggested methods I tried do not work.. Any suggestions. Thanks

Again, that´s a W210. You should go to the W210 forum for this questions.
The closer to a maintenance schedule display screen on a W124 is the sticker they put on the door frame when we do an oil change.[:D] And it works!

Get in the car and close the door. Then follow the directions in the manual.

According to my best analysis, this is the W210 forum.

My owners manual (2000 yr) says to turn the ignition to position 1, call up the main/trip odometer, press up/down button until the FSS appears, then press the "R" button on the left of the instrument cluster for approximately two seconds.

Hope this helps.
