NEW--Dunlop SP 9000 Tires (2-Front-245/45-18 & 2-Rear—275/40-18) with AMG style rims (Original equipment—18� AMG Alloy Wheels) for 2001 S55 Mercedes-Benz. They came with the car in 2001, and have been stored in the garage since shortly after purchase.

(Please note we are using the CL tire listed in another ad to prop the AMG tires in photo, refer to the top tire only!) Located in San Francisco Bay Area (CA) Will NOT split set. $2,500 Firm

I don't think so. I found the following specifications for your car on a tire web site, and it doesn't look like the tires/rims I have would be a good fit.

It appears your car originally came with 205/65-15 tires. If you went to 18" tires, your option would be: 245/40-18. It did not show that a SEC’s rear and front tires could be different sizes in anything other than 16� tires.

It's not the tire size that is a problem. The ET of the wheels is too high. The SEC requires an ET OF 25 preferably, but you can go a little higher using spacers.
