Here we have my Vito 108CDI (638) in white.
I have owned the vehicle for 3 months and after spending a large amount of money fixing a few problems, I no longer have the funds to run the vehicle so it is up for grabs, I should have known a student could not run a van which only does 40mpg compared to his old Skoda which managed 60mpg, so here is the story...
Milage - 68,000.
Tax - 02/2011
MOT - 07/2011
Partial service history
Clean van in excellent mechanical order.
It has PAS, a cd player with aux input including new speakers (vast improvement on original ones), twin side loading doors, tailgate with heated rear window and wash wipe, diesel booster heater, floor anchors, ply lined with heavy duty flooring, ASSYST dash computer (lets you know oil levels at the touch of a button), service indicator and an immobiliser.
Recent work from the van was an engine refurbishment following 'the black death' so it has had the following work carried out;
Engine refurbishment including 4 new injectors including seals and bolts, 4 glow plugs, new rocker cover, new breather pipe, new fuel rail, new fuel line (pump to filter), new gasket set, new fuel filter, and a major service all carried out by the local commercial vehicles garage.
Recent work includes;
Rear discs and pads, rear handbrake shoes, rear handbrake cables, all c.v. boots replaced, brake fluid renewed, front brake hoses replaced, new battery fitted, new anti roll bar links fitted, new air filter, cab heater control replaced, trim panels replaced.
I was also told by the previous owner it had a top coat respray close to the time I bought it (09/2010).
The is very little rust (considering its a vito) with only a couple of smatterings underneath the doors sills. There is hardly any exterior rust, just on the sills where it is starting to show slightly.
Also comes with 4 Mercedes wheels trims, or the original hub caps as pictured.
The bad points!
The horn and reversing lights are currently not working and also the is a crack in the windscreen which means it would need replacing. All cheap fixes I am told, the answers are available in the Vito forum, I just don't have the time.
The van is located near Penrith, Cumbria (ENGLAND)
THE VAN IS NOW REDUCED £2700ono
