I called the dealer and they said it CAN be programmed to a different carNo. It will only work with the car it was originally coded for. Better go locate the person who you sold your car to.
You mind sharing the name and phone number of this magical dealer? Every one I've ever talked to said they come from MB programmed (the dealers order them) and once programmed, they are programmed and can't be re-programmed.I called the dealer and they said it CAN be programmed to a different car
If you read my original post you would know the name of the dealer. Think and read before posting. You mind sharing the name and phone number of this magical dealer? If your dealer has a mystical way of doing it ("Coming soon to USA Network: The Key Whisperer") I'm sure they will be inundated by members here and everywhere, so please do share.
Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg
No it can not be reprogrammed, hope you offer a return policy, your buyer is going to be pissed.I called the dealer and they said it CAN be programmed to a different car
Nice attitude while you're taking money from strangers. I do think and read, which is irritating to those who are hoping to pull a fast one. Speaking of thinking, think about this: just because you bought it from one dealer (and paid too much) doesn't mean that's the one you allegedly called that backed up your story. Speaking of reading, you didn't complete your profile and never stated your location so we had no idea where you are now anyway. If you read my original post you would know the name of the dealer. Key is sold anyway
