REDUCED PRICE Hello, I am looking to thin out my car collection. I bought this SL 500 a year ago from a great guy in South Florida who deals in Bentley , Rolls , Mercedes, and mostly euro car repair and restoration. He took this SL in on trade for a Bentley. I purchased it for my wife as our weekend car. We sold her convertible Clk 550 and she was in the mood for another convertible.

This car runs / drives perfect. I bought it with about 68k miles on it and it now has approximately 69,800 miles on it. Silver in color with charcoal leather. Has ventilated seats, AMG sport package, and comfort package. When I find the window sticker I can list all the original options. I know it was $11k worth of additional options brining the original msrp to $99k. We enjoy the car but I have started to develop back problems from an auto accident a couple months ago and it's just too hard to get in and out of.

When I bought it all the roof cylinders were rebuilt by top hydraulics. Engine and trans have no issues, abc will sag in the front after being parked for a couple days. But lifts fine once started. Paint and interior are in an amazing condition. Newer continental tires. Any questions just ask. I am in Jacksonville Florida. Car has been a Florida car and garage kept. R230 / SL 500 with similar miles and condition are currently listed for $17,995 to $20,000. I feel my asking price is fair for the miles and condition of my SL. I have the clean physical Florida title on hand. Just needing to thin out the cars. Tired of all the tags and insurance. And with my back I fear I will not be enjoying the SL.

UPDATE..... I am reducing to $13k. There is a leak somewhere in the roof hydraulics. Top is still working. I am having to add fluid to the pump every couple of cycles. All the cylinders were rebuilt by top hydraulics last year. Not sure it it's a cylinder or a line. I can't find the leak. Nothing in the interior. I can't bend to get in the trunk to look around. Cash price $13k
