This Mercedes-Benz SL320 (1997) 2 Door Convertible Roadster is a completely unique, extremely rare land vehicle that is restricted to the Men and women who are smart, attractive and connoisseurs of fine taste and elegance (I know repetitive to mention on Benzworld). The interior is fully carpeted and cozy, with accent lighting and room for up to 2 sexy, extroverted people in the main cabin with the hard top removed. The car also has an automatically deployable soft top for when you’re driving down and a sudden downpour comes out of nowhere. This appealing vehicle is a 2 wheel rear-axle drive (with automatic & manual transmission) with 228 HP with a 32.L DOHC 24 Valve 6 Cylinder ME Sequential Multiport Fuel Injection Engine… Translation: This car possesses a fierce and intimidating roar that will scare the bee-gee-bees out of any contemporary “hamster mobiles” and will uncontrollably compel them to race you at every Red light in downtown Denver. While you could dust ‘em, but you’re in a Benz now, so please allow them to help themselves into the waiting speed gun sights of the Denver PD.
The windshield wiper has auto rain detection technology that is just making it into contemporary cars. Once activated by the driver, the wiper speed self adjusts depending on the intensity of the downpour.
Mercedes clearly designed this car for the people who love to stash stuff. There are hidden storage compartments in the doors, behind the seats and even right on the main dashboard. As the 4th owner of this car, I have yet to discover all of them. In the ones I have discovered, I have found loose change, a hastily written phone number on the back of a swanky night club match book, a non-descript key and 2 golf balls. Both golf balls will be included in the car, one in the center console and the other that I have not been able to retrieve from the back compartment behind the Driver’s seat.
A 6-speaker Bose Acoustimass Sound System is mounted to project sound both into the cabin and outward, from behind the power windows. It includes a 1997 State of the Art AM/FM Radio system complete with a Cassette player and a 6 CD changer in the trunk. Also included is a 6 Channel Weather Band Radio that will provide NOAA weather updates/alerts.
Important Info:
As this is a 15 year old car, it does have some expected wear and tear. Most notably, the Windshield has squashed numerous bugs (which I have cleaned off) and has suffered a few minor stars from loose road gravel. These nicks are also evident across the body but do not distract from the car’s look. The car has been garaged in AZ and has received the required beauty sleep and servicing. I have the original service records, associated manuals, 2 keyless entry keys, 1 valet key and supporting Documentation. Alas, the rear-view mirror could not tolerate the AZ heat and has had to be shrink-wrapped to maintain its composure inside the car. It still works for rear-viewing. Brand new tires were installed in March this year and have a transferrable warranty for 30,000 miles. Approximately ~26,000 miles to go before warranty expires. At the same time, all the engine mounts were replaced to ensure the smoothness of the ride during tight turns.

The car passed Colorado Emissions (08/20/2012) with flying colors (will give to the new owner) and has a “Verification of VIN” form approved by the Thornton Police Department for easy Transfer of Title and Registration.
