1987 Mercedes 560SEC

Exterior color: cabernet red (burgundy)
Interior: palomino (darker tan)

Two owner vehicle – purchased from original owner in 1998 with 58K miles in original condition, currently has 138K miles. Never driven in winters after roads salted, by either myself or original owner. Driven an average of 6500-7000 miles per year. Seven pages of documented upgrades, repairs, maintenance over the past 12 years. Highlights include:

Upgrades:

1) Windows lightly tinted – 1998
2) monochrome body paint (bumpers, lower door panels, mirror backs) in 2000
3) H&R lowering springs, AMG Monoblock wheels (18X8 front, 18X9 rear) with H&R spacers, front shocks – 2000
4) Euro vacuum adjustable headlights – 2000
5) Stainless steel custom engraved sill plates – 2000
6) Timevalve stainless steel exhaust (complete) with resonator delete - 2000
7) One touch windows, Viper alarm, Bergwerks first gear start, Alpine AM/FM/CD headunit – 2002
8) Clear front turn signals and rear taillights – 2002
9) Euro Lorinser front/rear bumpers – 2007
10) Cocomats custom floormats - 2009
11) SAAB 115 amp alternator – 2010

Major repairs:

1) New radiator, thermostat, hoses, clutch fan, EHA, fuel injectors – 1999
2) New water pump, fuel lines, oxygen sensor, exhaust – 2000
3) New motor and trans mounts, steering damper - 2001
4) a/c system completely repaired (compressor, receiver/dryer, expansion valve, hoses) and recharged with R12 – 2002
5) Rebuild front suspension rubber bits, timing chain, complete tuneup – 2004
6) Monovalve insert kit – 2005
7) Rear main seal, front trans pump and seal, steering box, rear diff mounts, new rear window (delamination) and metal shelf – 2007
8) Replace accumulators – 2008
9) Interstate 85 month battery, front brake pads, upper/lower radiator hoses - 2010

Maintenance:

1) engine oil changed yearly with Amsoil synthetic 10W-40 (has higher zddp content needed for these motors)
2) brake fluid and coolant flushed yearly (spring) with MB or Zerex products
3) transmission serviced every 25K with dino oil up to 100K, after that 50K with Amsoil synthetic
4) power steering fluid/filter, fuel filter, hydraulic fluid/filter, rear diff fluid changed every 25-30K

Vehicle is in very good condition. It is a used vehicle and not perfect, but the body is straight, no rust, no accidents, everything works to my knowledge.

Bump for a beautiful car, and a for another Pensyltuckee Resident. If you ever wanted to trade it for a 300d lmk, but I don't expect to hear from you lol.
