Ok my wife says I can ask one stupid question a day so here goes. I have search the archives and can't seem to find the answer. I was doing an oil change today and was looking for the front accumulators for the suspension but can't see them. I can see the coil spring and the shocks. I found the back ones and one is leaking (thus the low on fluid) can someone get me in the general area to look or are there only the rear ones on the 1994. Also I change accumulators on a 560 SEL and used CHF 7.1 fluid can I use the same fluid on the SL600?

Is changing my leaking accumulator a DIY project? I did it on a 560SEL with no problems, but I read on one post that the body can fall down on the tires and have all kinds of problems.

Be sure to use floor jacks and jack stands. Otherwise you run the risk of having the tire supporting the body with no way to get underneath it to lift.

Front spheres are definitely a DIY project. Did ours not too long ago and glad I did it. Any questions feel free.

the more I read the more confuser I get. Think mine has been converted to standard suspension. It has struts and coil springs in front and shocks and coil springs in back and the lines with the clip on in the engine compartment it is just dangling there and not connected to anything. I know it has cells in the rear for sure because I seen them this morning.

Don't forget the Jew gaskets.! Hope that solves the LHM issue. I'd bet it will. Good luck !
