Hi, airbag light on dash and scan code confirms passenger occupancy sensor fault. Have tried to clear but comes back with fault. Although as per image below when I sit in the seat it registers my presence but the resistance value does not change? The ohm value is 1000.6 which is very high I’m confused … with the scan tool I can see the sensor register when I sit in the seat and exit which shows it working correctly. My question is if I add in a occupancy replicator will this fix my issue?

The front bottom cushion (under the leather or fabric) is a weight sensor. Check the connection on the weight could be loose and check the connection under the seat. I had this issue on my old CLK for years.

Thanks, yeah I’ve ordered a seat occupancy replicator so hopefully that solves my issue. I just thought it strange that my scan tool show conflicting diagnosis with it recognising a passenger and also saying it’s faulty?
