My 1968 S404 swiss army Unimog suddenly developed an oil leak at the front main seal. It only has 15,700Km's on it. Where can I buy a seal and is it difficult to replace?

Greg: The seal is the front engine seal for a 180-953 unimog motor. Appararently the frost gets into the seal because the front pulley is not tight to the engine and the seal rips.
Do you have a part number?
Thanks

Sorry Doug I do not have that info. Any dealer should be able to pull that up pretty quick. Sounds like a rather odd thing to happen though.
