OK, now I'm going NUTS!!!! everything was ok, and one morning (today) I realised that the steering wheel feels as if a couple of Gremlins were trying to steer the car for me. Just minute, very slight nudging of the steering wheel as if the car had a mind of it's own. It's not a steady pull, it's just as if the wheels wanted to go on it's own way (each one separately). Tire pressure is ok, so two suggestions I've heard were: check your tie-rod ends, and check if your bearings are tight. Anything else to check? I'm sure 190E's have the same suspension, so all suggestions are welcome.

YES, WHEEL BEARING ARE THE OBVIOUS AS ARE TIE-ROD ENDS. NEXT CHECK WOULD BE THE LOWER BALL JOINT OR A POSSIBLE DEFECTIVE LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU STAND ON THE BRAKES FROM A 30 MPH ROLL. THAT SHOULD HELP TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT KIND OF PROBLEM YOU ARE ENCOUNTERING.
piotr,

Bring it to alignment specialist who knows Mb's but the things is be sure to ask them what was the cause of sudden change of the cars alignment. If they can't find out. go to another place. That IMHO will save an alignment before fixing the culprit...
