Front ashtray replacement a big job for CLK?

Unfortunately, during replacement of my COMAND unit, the ashtray face was accidentally scratched. Dealer tried to use rubbing compound, but that ended up adding a bunch of microscratches around the area.<br> <br> Dealer decided to replace the face and will schedule an appointment to do it.<br> <br> Given that the ashtray face seems hard to get at, will they have to tear everything apart to replace it? I'd hate to risk messing up something else during this process....<br> <br> Your thoughts/advice are appreciated!<br> <br> Thanks
