Not my vehicle (my father-in-law - who is in the pictures), hope I've got the right forum - we had to move a fridge which had to be kept upright.

Patrick, your pictures make my eyes water! I cringe just thinking about the possible damage that could have been done to what is a reasonable looking 123 [:0].

Oh, and you have the right forum, that car was a 123.

Potential Damage

I was worried that the wood supporting the fridge would break or bend the body work (at the base of the rear window) or even come up through the parcel shelf (it was pushed all the way back of the trunk)

My father-in-law (the owner, German and man in the pictures) assured me that that was not possible - he was using physics and in any case he had already transported many items this way (including a sofa)!

Not bad for a 24 year old vehicle!
