Going back to when we used to bomb along the French Toll roads on our ZZR1100's and 1300cc Hyabusas - we always wondered whether the guys in the toll stations had any way of quickly calculating our average speed using a distance / time formula (taking the entry / exit points as a reference). For this reason and to possibly avoid unwanted 'on the spot' fines we'd hammer along the road and then stop for a few minutes in the area just where you go to pay just to let a bit of time catch up! heheheheheh
Does anyone really know for sure whether this was all a bit of urban myth or can they nail you?
