Frank...how do you like your h&r setup? other than major bumps..is the ride pretty smooth? (more)

how is the camber? did you need a camber kit?

Re: Yeah the ride is pretty good. I didn't need a camber kit since it was still within spec.

if i may ask what all did you do (shocks, springs and spring pads). i'm looking for about a 1 1/2 inch gap and don't know to use.

With my old set-up, H&R, 1pt pads, stock shocks, i had a 1/2 inch gap left..

With Eibachs and stock pads, you should get the 1 1/2 inch gap you want. Just make sure to change the pads though to 2pt/1pt respectively as Eibach makes the car sit uneven. The back is raised a bit more than the front.

Yes I still am. "Old" meaning I didn't have Bilstein Shocks yet.

Cause now the car sits a bit higher because of the shocks.

Re: Yes I still am.

Thanks for the input, but i was thinking that an H&R/bilstein setup with stock pads should do the trick. Was i mistaken and do i also need to change the pads? I have 18 in. wheels and the gap in the front is like 3 in. and is unbearable. Thanks!

Change the pads now. It'll cost you the same amount to swap the springs out..

if you do it at a later time. Besides the pads are cheap.
